What Is Modern Square Dancing?

  • Modern square dancing brings together groups of eight in a fun, fast-paced group activity where dancers follow “calls” from a live caller—think Simon Says meets social dancing, set to upbeat, contemporary music. It’s a perfect hobby for introverts and extroverts alike:
  • A social and non-competitive dance
  • Great for your mind and body
  • No partner required
  • Friendly environment
  • Builds teamwork, memory, and fast-thinking skills
  • And, it’s just plain fun!
