About

Drop-in Nights

The Triangle Squares dancers are a recognizable feature of LGBTQ life in Toronto and the Church-Wellesley Village. We do modern square dancing with an upbeat style, a wide range of music, and a dash of flamboyance.

If you want to be connected to people in your community and make a lot of new friends… if you wanna have fun… if you want to shake out the kinks and bust a few new moves… then check out our next Open House (September).

You don’t need a partner, or experience, or any kind of special clothes–just comfortable shoes and a zest for life.

Join us for a TASTE OF SQUARE DANCING: Thursday, Aug 17 & Sep 14, at 7:00 pm sharp, in the Ballroom at The Fabulous 519 — 519 Church Street, north of Wellesley. Everyone welcome. No partner needed, no dance experience required, and no charge! Contact: info@trianglesquares.com

Other opportunities to dance:

  • Our friends at Toronto Contra Dancers dance Saturday nights, once a month, at Danforth and Chester ave. Throughout the season, each dance starts with an intro session at 7:00, and they’ll have you groovin’ to live music. Check their calendar for dates.
  • Better yet, get on our mailing list, and we’ll keep you posted about our Open Houses and future Fun Nights. We may have more in the new year. And we promise not to be spammy.

Triangle Squares welcomes all dancers, regardless of gender expression or sexual orientation.
